RDS search

Press [CHANNEL].

• Automatically begin the RDS search operation.

If no RDS stations is found with above operation, all the

reception band are searched.

Either turn

FUNCTION

or press [TUNER] to

select “TUNER”.

Press [SEARCH] to select “RDS”.

•To continue searching, repeat step 2.

• If no other RDS station is found when all the frequencies are

searched, “NO RDS” is displayed.

Either turn

FUNCTION

or press [TUNER] to

select “TUNER”.

TP search

Press [SEARCH] to select “TP”.

Press [CHANNEL].

• Automatically begin the TP search operation.

If no TP station is found with above operation, all the

reception bands are searched.

•To continue searching, repeat step 3.

• If no other station broadcasting the designated program type is

found when all the frequencies are searched, “NO PTY” is

displayed.

Either turn

FUNCTION

or press [TUNER] to

select “TUNER”.

RT (Radio Text)

Press [SEARCH] to select “RT” , then press

FF GG

select “ON”.

While receiving an RDS broadcast station, the text data

broadcast from the station is displayed.

•To turn the display off, press

FF GG

• If no text data is being broadcast, “NO TEXT DATA” is

displayed.

Either turn

FUNCTION

or press [TUNER] to

select “TUNER”.

PTY search

Press [SEARCH] to select “PTY”.

Press

FF GG

to call out the desired program type.

Press [CHANNEL].

• Automatically begin the PTY search operation.

If there is no station broadcasting the designated program

type with above operation, all the reception bands are

searched.

•To continue searching, repeat step 2.

• If no other TP station is found when all the frequencies are

searched, “NO TP” is displayed.
